"AHF is a wonderful school. The education received there, and the attentiveness of the Sisters, faculty and staff is second to none. As a graduate of AHF who went on to higher education and served in public office, I can tell you first hand how valuable the Academy has been to me in every phase of my life. I know my classmates and lifelong friends from the Academy feel exactly the same way. AHF is an icon in eastern Connecticut that has contributed to many young ladies' lives, now it is time for us to contribute back to AHF. Please consider generously giving to this great school that has educated generations of young women from the Norwich area, and around the world." Hon. Maureen C. Mooney
"AHF is a phenomenal place for the women of today to receive the very best education possible. The Sisters are attentive, caring and wonderful. The school meets the educational needs of all, however it also meets the spiritual and emotional needs of girls during the most difficult teen years. As a graduate of the Academy I sincerely hope to be able to, one day, send my daughter(s) there. The friendships formed during those years have survived the last 17 years and will continue for the next 17, I'm sure. I hope all that read this story consider giving even a small amount to help continue this great tradition for many more young women." An alumna, Marie
"In this era of society changes, it's nice to know there are still private Catholic schools with the same values of days gone by to offer. It is a beneficial resource to our community to embrace and ensure that it continues by making donations in any amount they can. As they extend their hand to the community in so many ways, I hope the community could reciprocate in good faith." R Mansfield
In 2010 I sponsored legislation to use legislative mailing dollars to provide credits for businesses that donate to a scholarship fund. We have 50 sponsors, 12 Mayors and a dozen organizations supported the amendment. In 2011 we need the public to join our effort to support this important legislation.
