Description of the organization’s goals and services:
Our Environmental Club is a recently founded organization at the Academy of the Holy Family, a Catholic day and boarding school. At the Academy, we are involved with various environmental activities, including our newly initiated student-run recycling program and an outreach to increase the awareness of environmental issues in our community. Our mission statement is “We feel that it is our duty to preserve the environment around us; inform others of the detrimental effects of pollution; and cherish the Earth as one of God’s greatest gifts to humanity”.
