Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please find enclosed your daughter’s report card.  I apologize for the delay which was caused by glitches with the report card program.  On the other hand I was confident that you have been using Edline and have been aware of grades.  Please be sure you are all using your Edline accounts as this service is actually a perpetual progress report for students and parents.  Should you find you are having problems accessing your account please contact Mr. Massad via email and he will be happy to help.  There is an error on the line for the SAT Prep grades.  When this is rectified I will print out the report cards of students enrolled in this class for you.

Sometimes parents ask if homework can be given ahead of time.  As stated in the handbook, this is not done.  Please look on Edline for homework on the days your daughter is out and print out the homework for that day.  Thanks.

The Alumnae Soup a Thon, which was scheduled for this Saturday has been rescheduled for March 1st.  It would be great to have your support by your attendance.

We have been having a great Catholic Schools’ Week!  Both the students have staff have enjoyed the activities.  During the Spring we will have Spirit Week.  One of the activities will be our three winning teams of this week’s Jeopardy competing in a playoff.  It would be great to have a parent audience.  Dates will be forthcoming.

Time is passing so quickly!  This Wednesday, February 6th, is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent.  It’s a wonderful season for us all to examine our relationship with Jesus Christ and to do a little spiritual spring cleaning.  The Bishop’s website has resources for families to use for Lent:  http://www.usccb.org/lent/prayer.shtml.

Please remember that February vacation is from the 15th through the 22nd.  All boarders are to return on the 24th.  Classes for all resume on the 25th.

Have a great February!

In Jesus and Mary,
