Spiritual formation is of primary importance at the Academy. The Sacraments are available
and religion classes enhance the student’s knowledge of her faith and learning to make sound,
mature, moral decisions.
Approximately 98-100% of Academy students attend colleges directly after graduation. The Academy has a partnership with Three Rivers Community College whereby upperclassmen may take college courses outside of school hours at the college. This partnership has proven to be quite beneficial to our students as it is an opportunity for them to earn credits for both the Academy and college. College credits may also be earned by students who enroll in our AP courses and are successful on the AP exams.
We welcome students from other countries who attend the Academy of the Holy Family to learn English. Such students are immersed in English through classes taught in English and interacting with English speaking students both in school and in the dormitory. English as a Second Language is also provided for international students.
A two-semester, four-quarter year including access to student progress 24/7 via Edline, as well as quarterly report cards provides close communication with the family of each student, while at the same time requiring personal accountability.
